Key product updates at a glance
Amp’s Claude subscription integration is available; ElevenLabs’ advertised v4 credit offer reaches its stated 12 October deadline. These are different kinds of update: Amp announced its integration on 10 October, while ElevenLabs’ voice models launched earlier, on 28 September. We are highlighting the offer’s scheduled deadline, not calling v4 a new release today.
This edition covers sources checked from 9 October at 12:08 to 12 October at 11:53 Europe/Istanbul (UTC+3), including the 48-hour overlap with the previous scan. It does not cover developments later today.
Amp: Claude Pro and Max subscriptions now work in Claude Code mode
Claude Pro and Max subscribers can link their plan to Amp and choose its Claude Code mode when starting a thread. Amp’s 10 October announcement says the integration is available to everyone, with no additional charge for using the mode. An eligible Claude subscription is still required; this is not free Claude access.
This is Amp’s third-party integration, not a new Anthropic-owned app. Amp says the mode runs the Claude Agent SDK and supports its collaboration features, including thread sharing, portals, multiplayer and communication between threads. The announcement does not specify a new country-by-country rollout.
The subscription covers one mode, with separate costs to check
Amp’s own agent modes and raw model access are not covered by a Claude plan. Its current documentation distinguishes the Claude Code mode from other routing choices.
- A runner on your own machine can be used without an Amp compute charge. It uses that machine’s Claude Code installation and login.
- Amp-hosted orbs have separate compute charges, paid through Amp credits or the applicable Amp plan.
- Painter image generation still uses Amp credits. Linking a Claude subscription does not include it.
- The integration excludes Oracle, Librarian and Illustrator, and disables Claude Code’s plan mode, todo tool and notebook editing.
For local runners, the guide specifies Claude Code 2.1.276 or later and a current Amp CLI. It also says Amp runs Claude Code without permission prompts on the runner. Review the integration’s execution behavior and repository access before delegating work.
Anthropic’s subscription guidance, updated 7 October, says third-party apps and the Claude Agent SDK can still use subscription limits. That does not make usage unlimited or extend the plan to every Amp feature.
ElevenLabs: the v4 Creator+ offer has a stated 12 October deadline
ElevenLabs’ official v4 page still advertises three times the included credits on Creator+ until 12 October. At our cutoff, that banner was visible on the v4 product page.
The public banner does not specify an expiry hour or timezone. We cannot say the offer has already ended, promise it lasts until Istanbul midnight, or establish every account’s remaining promotional allowance from that page. Check the allowance displayed in your account before a generation; the banner alone does not establish that API calls, other models or every surface receive the same promotion.
The underlying models remain a separate product announcement. ElevenLabs’ launch post, published 28 September and updated 5 October, describes v4 and v4 Turbo availability across ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents and the API. Today’s deadline coverage does not mean those products are being withdrawn.
Analysis: an included model does not settle the whole workflow cost
MUVO’s interpretation: the practical question is which part of a task an allowance pays for. Amp separates the coding model from hosted compute and image generation. ElevenLabs’ time-limited banner requires checking the account allowance and the chosen generation surface.
For a creator building a publishing tool or producing narration, record the selected mode, model and expected charge before starting a large batch. These sources establish advertised access and terms; MUVO has not tested the integrations, measured output quality or made paid generations for this report.
Incident follow-up and reporting coverage
No material new incident qualified in this scan, so there is no 12 October incident placeholder. The 11 October incident edition retains the customer-reported ChatGPT loading and Codex capacity issues. Brief additional complaints did not establish a new cause, recovery or provider-confirmed outage.
The scan included major AI providers and the music, video and remix/stem watchlists. Unavailable histories and undated announcements remain coverage gaps. See the previous news edition for OpenAI’s mobile dots update and Anthropic’s agent-safety research.
